ABOUT BOGUS CALLERS

A performance with an element of forum theatre.

Small World methods include mask making, touring set design and an adapted forum theatre process.

Participatory opportunities exist for audience members to help "develop" the audience as a whole

Devised using mask as a metaphor for the suspect characters while trustworthy characters appear unmasked

a suspect pair of fake builders call at Molly's doors

The bogus water official tries to dupe Molly - The heartless fake charity workers steals her bag

Wait until he audience get involved

A member of the audience takes the role of a neighbor with good advice or they step into her role and try to outwit the bogus callers who skillfully improvise new ways around the new intervention or are defeated by a sharp thinking "spectactor" (a spectator is someone who takes the role of a character who seeks to make a better outcome)

More venues in the Welsh valleys to come

Set requirements: 3.5 Meters deep 2.6 meters high and 3.5 meters wide. As this is a forum theatre process so access to the performance area is needed by audience members so they can take part in the action take on a role and improve the scenario. For large audiences a PA can be provided.
