Small World Theatre's Carers Project
This section of the show performed at the Princess Royal Theatre in Port Talbot was devised from case studies of carers in the Neath-Port Talbot area and performed by SWT actors Vanya constant, Grace Liggins , Steve and Sophie from Vanya's seniors at Cardigan Youth Theatre and Ann Shrosbree Small World Theatre's chief executive. Bill Hamblett, SWT's artistic director facilitated the forum theatre sessions

The adapted Forum Theatre process included input from Brenda ( below )

An astonishingly moving piece was performed by young carers from Neath Port Talbot area. It was devised during two workshops run by Small World Theatre. The forum theatre process was new to the young group but they managed to improvise with skill and credibility.
The young carers play encouraged about five audience interventions and the issues raised were discussed between the audience and the performers. The exchange was passionetly chargerd and was fuel for thought for many of the front line staff as well as carers present.
