Giving to Small World Theatre
We need your support to help us implement projects here in the U.K. with disadvantaged communities and to further our work in Africa, especially Tanzania andUganda where we are focused on working with womens reproductive rights, orphans of the HIV/AIDS Crisis.
We also need the final bit of match funding for Canolfan Byd Bychan / Small World Centre which will be our new base and a place to work with the community, provide information and resources for education for sustainability and global citizenship, work on developing new shows and projects and to train a successor generation in Arts and Culture for Development.
We also need funds just to keep going. As you can see from the rest of this web site we have achieved a great deal in 26 years. We are operating from our base but it is not accessable to wheelchair users and people with mobility issues. We have also been working mostly from project funding to project funding without full revenue support. Over the last 2 years some of our core funding and capacity building funds have come from the Baring Foundation and the Arts Council of Wales. We are extremely grateful for their support. This will be coming to an end soon and we need funds just to keep running Small World Theatre.
