Creative projects need creative approaches
to evaluation. Participatory monitoring and evaluation can happen throughout
the process during regular feedback meetings and discussions. ‘Still
pictures’ of good and bad sides of the project are very useful. Discussions
with audiences immediately and/or some time after performances will reveal
their responses. The value of theatre is its narrative structure and live
performance this ensures the content is memorable, particularly when the audience
identify with the story.
