| PERFORMANCES IN
THE COMMUNITY |
|
 |
By now you all know your community well. Listen
to the group, they will be the best advisers on where to take your play.
Small audiences of 30 or so can get more directly
involved with the play and it should be easier to generate discussion afterwards.
However, for young people performing to their peers this intimacy can be very
intimidating. They may prefer the more distant option of performing to larger
audiences until they gain confidence.
Try to organise some performances with both
young and older people in the audience, the quality of discussion and feedback
will be worth it (See the evaluations on
the website).
