A new Giant Street and dockside extravaganza of spectacle and retro-engineered ritual. The biggest Giant in Britain to be operated without trucks or powered cranes.

Missing for over a millennium Bran is discovered by Small World Theatre's trained clown archaeologists and brought to life by local choirs and intensely focussed artist surgeons.

How long can this myth reborn survive in the modern world before Bran returns to the earth

Rhyw a Thlodi – Sex and Poverty
Participatory project development

The project will use participatory drama and other participatory development methods to consult teachers, health professionals, young people, educational advisors, teacher trainers and other stakeholders on their perceptions, knowledge and current understanding of issues surrounding sexual health locally, and in the context of the impact of STD’s such as HIV/AIDS on global poverty.
We have used participatory development planning tools to develop a draft project plan with stakeholders.

We are at present assimilating , digesting and cracking the data gained from the two sessions.

Tanzania

We went to investigate the viability of a project that we would like to be involved in working with women, sexual health and rights. Small World Theatre would help train and establish the aspects of the project that would use an element of theatre. SWT would also have some administrative role too.

Uganda

This training project for AIDS orphans will enable them to deliver accurate and culturally sensitive information while engaging very hard to reach communities in a participatory approach to community learning and behavioral change concerning sexual health.

We desperately need the money to fund this. This work saves lives.
