Uplifting Aerial

Uplifting Aerial sessions (Saturdays) continue working with young people who have previously been referred to us by Hywel Dda University Health Board (UHB) improving mental health and reducing feelings of distress in children and young people known to Specialist Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (SCAMHS).

Our second group (Mondays) has spaces available for young people with mental health problems to build confidence and social skills. This group combines aerial circus and yoga with information about our bodies and nervous systems.

For opportunities to join Uplifting Aerial, please contact Deri, deri@smallworld.org.uk

Inclusive Aerial

A sensory experience for neurodiverse and disabled children and young people in a safe, fun environment where taking risk, socialising and learning is supported. Contact for Inclusive Aerial: Sam, sam@smallworld.org.uk

Performance

Working with young adults who are not in work, education or training, Small World Theatre artists will teach a varied programme of theatre skills including ground-based circus skills, aerial circus, theatre and puppetry. This series of sessions has the capacity to become an AGORED certificated course designed to improve confidence and promote workplace skills.

Inclusive Theatre

Working with an inspiring group of adults with learning difficulties, Small World artists will offer taster sessions in several art forms including ground-based circus skills, aerial circus, theatre and puppetry. Activity will build to a performance showcasing all the group’s talents and skills as a form of advocacy. For opportunities to join Inclusive Theatre, please contact Ann, ann@smallworld.org.uk
