Join us in bringing a little lantern magic to the town. Make a lantern for your Christmas window and be part in our illuminated Light Trail or bring your lantern to the Cardigan Giant Lantern Parade on Friday 11 December 2026, 7pm.

We’re inviting shopkeepers and local businesses to create beautiful lanterns for their Christmas windows across the town. Together, we’ll transform Cardigan into a glowing Christmas destination, attracting visitors, supporting local businesses and creating a festive trail for everyone to enjoy.

2026 Theme

Our festival theme celebrates the magic of the forest with illuminated trees, extraordinary forest creatures and mysterious plants hidden beneath the canopy.
